About The Systems

SkimTech™ offers a complete line of pre-engineered mounting systems designed for oil skimmers, regardless of application. Every oil skimmer mounting system is supplied complete with all assembly hardware and are designed with today's worker safety concerns in mind. 

Please note: The Skimall™ Model AG25 "Mini David" Oil Skimmer is supplied complete with a universal mounting system for ease of installation. 

Frame Mount Systems for Oil Skimmers

Our frame mount systems are designed to hold our Skimall™ Model BG34 "Lucy" or BG01 "Mighty Mack" Oil Skimmers at a sufficient height to gravity feed the oil to a collection container. Frame Mount Systems are designed for indoor and outdoor industrial applications - covered or grated sumps, pits, central coolant systems and oil/water settling basins

Our Frame Mount systems come with:

  • Frame system with all assembly and skimmer mounting hardware

  • Frame system with all assembly and skimmer mounting hardware

  • Sludge pan with debris screen and 3" drain coupling

  • Oil Skimmer bearing slide for safe and easy maintenance

  • Optional Tube Guide Shown For Installation Over A Manhole

Guard Rail Mounts

These mount systems are designed to support the oil skimmer to a guard rails.

  • Frame system with all assembly and skimmer mounting hardware

  • Sludge pan with debris screen and 3" drain coupling

  • Oil Skimmer bearing slide for safe and easy maintenance 

 

Optional Items:

  • Oil/Water Separator, 115 or 230 Volt Oil/Water Separator heater, Sludge Pan, Rain/Snow Cover, & Wind Shield

BOOM MOUNT SYSTEMS

for Oil Skimmers

Our boom mounts are designed for use with our Skimall™ Model BG34 "Lucy" or BG01 "Mighty Mack" Oil Skimmers. They are ideal for applications with multiple settling basins or ponds where long reach is required. The pre-engineered Boom Mount Systems with 6" diameter booms provide maximum reach and ease of maintenance. They are used for industrial applications ranging from outdoor sumps, pits, ponds to large oil/water equalization tanks and basins.

6', 8', 10', 12', 14', 16' long Boom Mounts come complete with:

  • Oil skimmer mounting hardware and sludge pan

  • 3" drain coupling

  • Pivoting mast coupling for vertical alignment of skimmer

  • Ratcheting system for safe and secure horizontal positioning of skimmer

  • Mast connection with bearings for 360º swiveling of boom

  • Boom positioning handle with fold-down locking connection
